We are a FIRST Tech Challenge team Entradox [#13416] based in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. The 2021-2022 FTC season will be our third year competing as part of the British Columbia circuit.
A multi-faceted team with expertise in mechanics, circuits and wiring, programming, arts, promotion, outreach and more. Our 14 member strong team works to strategize, build, program and compete with select robots. Outreach is also a major focus, in which we teach and collaborate with youth, other FTC Teams around the globe and community members.
In 2018, Meadowridge school initiated the FTC robotics program. As a rookie team, the team struggled to construct a reliable robot. Nevertheless, they learned from more experienced teams and grew into what became known as Blown Fuses Forever.
In the following season, the team rebranded to Team BFF (Blown Fuses Forever). Having grown from the previous season, BFF produced a rugged robot, reliably scoring points in major tournaments. In the 2019-20 season, BFF ranked and performed at the league average.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought the program to a halt in 2020-21. After a year on pause, BFF was relaunched under a new brand, team Entradox, aiming to become one of the most competitive teams in the British Columbia circuit.
